Dominique added 6 for Greensboro . Carlos Moss had 12 and Wilbert Johnson chipped in 11 for HAWS.

In the second game Statesville beat Lexington in a hard fought game 57 – 53. Marco Daye led the Eagles with 19 points as Buck Swift added 14 and Phillip Stevenson had 10. Ron O'Kelly was the high scorer of the game with 21 points in the losing effort for Lexington , while Darrius Bethea added 16.
