Statesville hosted the March 12, 2005 PHASAC games. Teen Health staff member did a great job explaining sexual matters which was one of the main topics that team members wanted to discuss. The difference between the Love and Lust, S.T.D.'s, and safe sex was discussed in a modest but informative way.

In the first game, Winston Salem HAWS and Lexington picked up where their first game of the season left off. The teams traded baskets the entire game and wound up in another overtime, just like their first meeting. Winston Salem remained undefeated as the squeaked out in a 58-53 victory. Carlos Moss and Wilber Johnson shared the high scorer honors with 17 points each for HAWS while Jquar Switzer added 9. Josh Lead had 16 points and Darrius Bethea 14 for Lexington .

In the second game, Statesville won a hard fought victory over rival Greensboro 48-43. buck Swift led the Eagles with 14 points, while Jamar Howard added 13, and Marco Daye had 10. Dominique Williams led the Greensboro Vikings with 10 points, and Dominique Deal had 8.
