In the first game in Lexington on Saturday Feb 12, Winston-Salem (HAWS) beat the Statesville Eagles and In the second game Lexington won over Greensboro . Details were not available. On Saturday, Feb. 19, Greensboro , Statesville , and Lexington PHASAC teams took a road trip to Charlotte , NC . We visited the African American Cultural Center and had another very informative tour at the Levine Museum of the New South. Kemuel Murray divided us into two groups and acted as tour guide. I think everyone thoroughly enjoyed this day filled with history and information. On Saturday, Feb. 26, Winston-Salem hosted the PHASAC games and workshop. Bill McClain started our day off on the right foot by providing a session on “The Hip Hop Culture and its Influences on Families”. In the first game of the day Statesville defeated Lexington 75 – 59. Statesville 's Jamar Howard was the high scorer of the game with 24 points (10 in the 4 th quarter) and Marco Daye added 19. Four Statesville players were in double figures including Phillip Stevenson with 16 and Buck Swift with 10. Ron O'Kelly was the high scorer for Lexington with 20 and Darius Bethea contributed 13.
