STATESVILLE HOUSING AUTHORITY DOES NOT OFFER EMERGENCY HOUSING.

 

We Accept Applications for Public Housing and Section 8 Assistance on

TUESDAYS "O N L Y" from  8:30  a.m.  to  3:00  p.m.

Please Note the following instructions related to the online application:

Applications are accepted on Tuesday's in our office (from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.).

If you live outside of a 50 mile radius you may mail the application to us at:

PLEASE NOTE:

A criminal check, credit check, and landlord history will be conducted as part of the application process.

 

Public Housing Waiting List is as follows:

 

1Bedroom units - 18 to 24 months

2 Bedroom units  -  18 to 24 months

3 Bedroom units - 12 months

4 Bedroom units  - as available

5 Bedroom units  -  as available

Elderly Units - 6 to 12 months (based on availability) 55 years or older

 

Section 8 Waiting List is 18 to 24 months (or until we get funding from HUD).
